January 7 , 2006 - WOW! Hard to believe we are a week into 2006.

Our little grandbaby, Hunter, is already
1 1/2 months old. Isn't he just adorable?
I sure wish we lived closer to him so we
could give him all his kisses & hugs in person!
For now he is in good hands with Grammy
Tammy & Grampy Jim who always give him
the proper spoiling!

We will probably get to see him
again sometime in May - I'm looking
forward to that!

Hunter

Weigh-in was great this week with a 1 lb loss   I finally made it back to One-derland!

My exercise has been going well. I've missed a couple of days but got in a nice 4 mile walk with Al on Saturday, which included a very nice OP lunch at Sweet Tomatoes..

This last week has been an easy one to stay on Program but a hard one on the emotional front. It seems grieving comes when you least expect it and it hit me head-on this last week. So, it's been a rather 'quiet' & thoughtful week for me.

I've not had a problem keeping within my Point range or getting my exercise in. I am slacking on the water a bit so must get back on that - my goal is to drink at least 6 glasses of water a day.

I continue to be Relaxed, Calm and Strong on Program. I'm not even tempted to go off Program and it's a great feeling. I've listened to my Hypnosis sessions now and then, when needed, and they help me to stay relaxed and positive on this Journey. I'm FOCUSED on my Journey.

How would I rate my last three weeks? A Success on Program!
My emotional issues were necessary but very tiring.

How would I rate my confidence level?
 My confidence level
continues to be strong. All of you, whether you know it or not,
help me tremondously in this area. You rock!

I cannot relive yesterday and tomorrow isn't here yet,
so I will just deal with today.

February 4 , 2006 - everyone! Yep, I'm still here.

Weigh-in was great this week with a 1 lb loss I'm slowly inching my way to goal. Getting back to One-derland was a HUGE It seems like it's been forever since I've been there. Now, onto the 180's - taking it 10 lbs at a time!

I am so I have not updated in a long time. This writing about myself every week is a new thing for me so please bear with me. My dear husband Al loves to write; it's second nature to him. It's a little harder for me. My weight loss chart and thermometer are always updated thanks to Al.

My exercise went well in January with some missed days towards the end of the month. I've been having a very hard time sleeping again so made an appointment with the doctor who put me on some different meds for sleeping and my severe restless legs. I'm taking it one day at a time and am hoping to get back into my regular routine of walking my 30 minutes on the treadmill each morning. The weather hasn't been the greatest to take a nice walk with Al either. I will be listening to my exercise CD - "Enjoying Weight Loss" Hypnosis CD's - tonite which always helps in that department. I love these hypnosis cds and I love Dr. Roberta who does them. I always feel a sense of calm & relaxation after listening to them. I've been listening to them as I feel I need them but for the next week or two I'll be listening to the sessions again, maybe even twice. They help me tremendously with my FOCUS which is extremely important in this Journey of ours. I'd definately highly recommend these Hypnosis CDs if you are having to struggle with staying on your program or you just need to hear a positive, supportive voice. I continue to be Relaxed, Calm and Strong on Program. I'm not even tempted to go off Program and it's a great feeling.

My Program has been going good as far as drinking my water and staying within my points. It's still quite easy and like I said above I try and listen to my hypnosis CDs when I need that little extra push in the right direction. I haven't had too many struggles on Program except for being very tired. When I'm tired I find I don't want to eat and when I do it's always something quick that I can grab instead of fixing something a little more healthy. That is not always good. So, I'm hoping with my sleep slowly getting back to normal; okay, semi-normal; that I can make better food choices.

Next week I will be out of town (business trip for Al in which I get to go too!) so there will be a few challenges but I should be able to handle them as we've done this trip before. I'm still arming myself with Dr. Robertas - "Enjoying Weight Loss" Hypnosis CD's - positive, supportive voice. I can use all the help I can get to retain my FOCUS.

I would like to end by sharing a few photos of my greatest support system (and I had to throw in a photo of my grandbaby, Hunter James). I would not be where I am without them. I would also like to say all of you, my wonderful friends, new & old, keep me accountable on Program and give me a warm feeling of friendship, support and love.

February 11 , 2006 -

Weigh-in was great this week with a maintain Al and I have been out of town all week so this is a HUGE success. We got a suite with frig/microwave so stocked up on our OP foods. We only dined out once at our favorite Mexican Restaurant there. We had no problem staying away from the knowing that we had OP foods in our suite. Planning is definately the key to success when on the road and not at home in your "safe" house. I try to always get a room or suite with a frig/microwave in it.

I have not gotten back into my treadmill routine but hope to start tomorrow. It's very hard to get back into the routine when you've been out of it for awhile as you all know. All we can do is stick with it. I listened to my Exercise part of my "Enjoying Weight Loss" Hypnosis CD's tonite so I would be ready to go in the morning when I get up. The CD's are a great way to get your "head" back in the game when you are struggling a bit with a certain part of your Program. Believe me, it is easy to get out of the groove with a certain part of program like exercising when you skip a session or two. I don't like it when that happens but it does so I'll just deal with it as it comes, One Day at a Time, with No Guilt and Move On.

I was given an amyrilis for Christmas from a very close friend. She guaranteed that it would grow and bloom into beautiful flowers. She knows I do not have a green thumb. The only live plants I have are bamboo plants which I love - they NEVER die. I have to tell you - the amyrilis is such a beautiful flower! I know because it grew and bloomed; my very first one and it's gorgeous. I'm so excited Here are a couple photos of it.

We're going on an Alaskan cruise!

cruise ship

Al & I, along with our bestest friends, Jim & Tammy, are going on a cruise to celebrate our 30th Anniversary - both couples (ours is June 10, 2006 and theirs is Jan 1, 2007). It is the first time any of us have been on a cruise so we are really excited! Tammy and I are already planning a shopping "weekend" for the cruise.

How would I rate my week? A success on Program and in
planning for a safe OP "environment" while away from home.
I stayed very positive about Program.

How would I rate my confidence level?

February 18 , 2006 - This was a good week on Program which rewarded me with a very nice 1/2 lb loss I got back on track with my 30 minute workout on the treadmill which feels good! I try to get it done first thing in the morning which always helps me have a better day all the way around. Program was relatively easy and I found few obstacles to remaining OP this past week. My FOCUS is strong and with that comes the "ease of staying OP". I ate out a couple of times this week but chose foods within my Point range and enjoyed the company I was with. That is just one of the lessons on this Journey that I really enjoyed learning - that you could go out to eat, stay on your Program and enjoy your company. Afterall, this Journey is for LIFE. The Journey has become my LIFE.

My son, LeRoy, came down for the weekend and we all had a wonderful visit. It's been very and windy here so I've not gotten out much this past week for any outside activity. Soon, Al and I will be getting back into our again. I'm looking forward to the extra activity and the beautiful places we hike.

I have no food challenges coming up this next week so I'm counting on a smooth-sailing week on my Weight Watcher Program. It would be great if the scale decided to move more than 1/2 pound at a time but I'm okay with it. This is a different Journey than my first one and one thing I have learned is patience. I KNOW I'm doing great on Program so I also KNOW the scale will eventually catch up.

My husband Al has been so supportive and willing to help me in any way possible to make this Journey an easy one for me. I am truly blessed.

I would like to end by sharing a few more photos of our grandbaby, Hunter James. I've enjoyed "seeing" him on the webcam - almost like being there. Jamie (Tammy's daughter/Mommy to Hunter) is on the left. Isn't Hunter adorable in his little vest and tie? Okay, I'm a bit biased.

February 25 , 2006 - Well, it's Thursday, March 2nd and I'm late again in updating. I've been swamped with things that need to get done while insomnia has been making it very hard for me to concentrate. Of course, when your sleep is off so is everything else so this past week was manageable on Program but could of been a lot easier. Program was just "ordinary" this week with no real challenges foodwise. I maintained at 196 lbs. I've come to accept a maintenance as a HUGE success on Program. I added in some new vitamins & supplements for strengthening my bones so I'm hoping I'll see some results in the next couple of weeks in the energy department. I've been doing my 30 minute workout on the treadmill only missing a day or two. It feels good to be back active again. It's so hard to get back in the groove when you lose it. Why is that?

March 18 , 2006 - Another 3 weeks have flown by! I am truly amazed at how much faster the time is flying by the older I get. It also amazes me how fast I can lose track of time and all of a sudden my list of "to dos" is longer than time allows.

I've dropped a couple more pounds the last 3 weeks and am now at 194 lbs. My new motto is "slow and steady wins the race" as that is how this 2nd Journey to Goal is going. You know, we assume that we will have the same weight loss Journey that originally got us to our Goal but that is rarely true. As time passes our bodies change and they don't react the same way to things we do. This happens due to many reasons - we get older; we are going through menopause; we are on different medications; we are dealing with a chronic illness; we are under more/different stresses. The list could go on. So, what I've found this time around is that I have to accept that this is going to be a different, slower Journey. The most important thing I can do is to "keep on keeping on" and never quit wanting this lifelong Journey to stay healthy & fit which will lead to a better number on the scale. I have to remember that the scale does not define me or my Journey.

My success is NEVER quitting and knowing I'm doing the best I can TODAY. My success is ALWAYS keeping on; cheering you all to keeping on; celebrating LIFE.

The treadmill is getting a bit of dust on it so I need to sit down and listen to my hypnosis cd dealing with exercise. That cd always gets me back up on the treadmill. I WILL get back on the treadmill regularly.

Program has been relatively easy these last couple of weeks with only a few challenges. One of my biggest challenges has been to eat regularly during the day. When I'm working on a project I tend to not take the time to eat. That is not good. I find my metabolism works best when I eat breakfast and then eat a little something every couple of hours. I then eat dinner and have a snack afterwards. So, I need to force myself to take a time out from working on things and EAT!

It looks like the Easter candy is out and working very hard to tempt us all to bring it on home. Me?

I will not have it in my house because I know this is what will happen:

I've been working very hard on updating my main TOC pages with some new menus. They are Java so if any of you are using computers without Java don't worry because you will be automatically redirected to the same page but without the menu (it will have the old menu). Hope you all like the changes I'm making. The new menus make for a cleaner looking, streamlined page.

As many of you know I just finished my first ever Teleseminar. My guest was Dr. Roberta Temes who created the "Enjoying Weight Loss" Hypnosis CD's, which BTW, I absolutely love using. What a great tool for my Journey this time. The teleseminar was a HUGE success and both Dr. Roberta and I had such a fun time doing it.

Of course, I cannot close without sharing some pictures of the "little ones" who bless my life.

May 12, 2006 -   Can you believe it is May already?  Where does the time go? My Journey Back to Goal is going very well and I'm happy with my results.  Since my last update, which was ages ago   Obviously I'm having a hard time getting in here and updating since this is the first time I've done this. All I can do is try and get in here and update more often.  Thank you to everyone who sent me emails telling me they missed my updates.  They help me immensely on this wonderful Journey.

I have lost another 3.5 lbs and that is with a very busy schedule with lots of social events.   I'm a happy camper and I have to tell you I'm feeling wonderful. There are days that don't go exactly as I had planned but I just get out my Hypnosis CDs and listen to the track that deals with what I'm struggling with at that time.  My "Enjoying Weight Loss" CD's also are a great "pick me up" and confidence booster when life gets me going in the wrong direction.  They bring me back to reality - my Lifelong Journey.  I just love the Weight Watchers Program and my hypnosis cds go hand in hand with the Program. I have the knowledge and the hypnosis cds got the mind to put my knowledge into action and feel confident doing so.  Yes!  A winning combination.

Exercise is going just "okay" so that will be the hypnosis cd I listen to the most.  I've been sporatic on the treadmill but I have been doing it now and then. I've walked 181.60 miles since the start of my Journey back to Goal.  I'm going to focus on how far I've come and the rest will fall into place.

Since I've last written a lot has been going on in my life.  On the weekend of March30, we had a wonderful visit from some wonderful friends, Tom (kreid001) & his wife, Barb.  It meant the world to us that they would make a special trip out to see us.  It was our first time meeting Barb and what a joy it was.  I had so much fun getting to know her.  You can see our photos from that visit at: Tom (kreid001) & Barb visit Al & Dotti

A Couple weeks after that wonderful visit we had another visit from some wonderful Zonies who've we've gotten together with before.  The weekend of April 21st was a "girls" weekend and so much fun. Melissa (Lissa, Administrator on our board), Tracey (tracylyn75, Moderator on our board) & Vikki (purplenorsemen, Moderator on our board) all came in on Friday, April 21st.  We had some wonderful meals with lots of catching up, got a pedicure (1st time for Vikki & I) and had a wonderful day at the Oregon Coast.  Tracy & Melissa had to leave on Monday so Al and I entertained Vikki until Thursday showing her all around the Portland/Vancouver area.  You can see our photos from that visit at: Zonie Weekend with Al & Dotti

I have to tell you, I didn't really have any struggles staying OP during these wonderful times. I was so busy visiting, chatting and having a great time that food was not the first thing on my mind.  What a great feeling.  It was so good spending time with our very good friends we have met through DWLZ.  Truly, I've been blessed.

Just this last weekend, May 5th, we headed up to Spokane, WA for the 30th Annual Bloomsday Walk/Run, a 12K, 7.46 miles. Bloomsday Weekend in Spokane, WA LeRoy came and picked Al & I up and drove us to Spokane.  That was really nice. I had a wonderful time seeing my grandson Hunter again and meeting our new grandnephew, Brady.  Oh my, and seeing all the nephews & niece (only one girl who is adorable!) - what a joy!  Last, but not least, it was good to see my Bestest Friend, Tammy.  I really needed some Tammy time. On Sunday, May 7th, we all did the Bloomsday Walk. It was cold, drizzly but I made it and loved that great feeling of having accomplished such a goal.  I will have the photo albums up soon and link to it then.

This weekend we will be heading to my Mother-In-Laws for Mother's Day. Al is an only child so it will be so nice that he can spend this Mother's Day with his Mom.  I'm her "daughter" and she treats me so special so it will also be a special Mother's Day for me.  Love you Mom!

I'll leave you with some of my favorite photos from this last weekend.

June 29, 2006 - Hi everyone!  Hope this update finds you all well, happy and enjoying your Journey!

Dotti and Al 1977

Al and I celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary on June 10th, around 10:25 am.  That day in 1976 is so clear in my mind.   We've had a wonderful 30 years and can't wait to see what the next 30 years has in store for us.  On that day Al gave me a beautiful silver heart pendant.  It had two hearts and inscribed was, "Our hearts beat as one."  That sentiment has never been truer as it is today.

Al and I are going to be celebrating our 30th anniversary on our 1st ever cruise in September.  We will be sharing it with our best friends, Jim & Tammy, who celebrate their 30th anniversary in January.

We headed to Spokane on Friday, June 9th for Jamie's High School Graduation.  We now share her graduation day with our anniversary, June 10th. Of course, seeing our grandbaby Hunter and the rest of the clan was an added bonus. Below are a few photos of our visit.  I'll have an album up soon.

On the left is Jamie & I at her High School Graduation on June 10th. It was so nice to see her walk up to receive her diploma.  On the right is our little grandson, Hunter James.  He had a cold but was such a happy little lovebug.  I can still hear his giggling.
Below is our family - Kaydee, Claudette, Jamie, Misty, Talon, Brady, Tammy, Cameron & Hunter.  Sami, Trever and Jim are missing from the photo. Can you say B-E-A-utiful & awesome!

Tammy and clan

As fate would have it Al and I got pretty sick with a sore throat and flu issues and by Thursday morning we knew we were headed home.  We were going to stay until the following Tuesday but we were just not feeling well at all. So we packed as well as we could, loaded the Toyota and headed home to our warm, comfy beds. Little did we know just how sick we were.  The "crud", as I call it, is just now starting to go away. Both Al and I are still tired but slowly we are getting back on track and into a routine again.  It certainly hit us hard.

I've lost 1.5 lbs since my last update. I've maintained my 189 for a couple of weeks and was happy that I didn't gain through my illness. I've learned a lot this time around and one thing is for sure - you can't depend on the scale to give you the validation you so desparately want during this Journey.  So...this time around I'm trying very hard to NOT focus on the numbers but instead of making healthy food choices, get my exercise in, drink my water and stay within my Points for the day.  It's a day to day and sometimes hour to hour Journey but it's a good Journey.  Last night I listened to my Hypnosis CDs - Enjoying Weight Loss and Dr. Roberta didn't let me down.  I listened to the exercise session as I was ready to get back to the treadmill.  This morning I got up and I did 45 minutes on the treadmill/2.4 miles.  I was a bit tired but I did it and I didn't overdo.  I haven't had many food challenges because when I'm not feeling good the food all tastes the same.  I'll have to watch it now that my taste buds are working again!

Al has put up a new hike that we took with my little brother Rip.  The Northwest sure is a gorgeous place.  Both Al and I got new Digital Cameras (his a Canon and mine a Nikon) so we captured some awesome shots of the falls and hiking trail. You just cannot beat the great exercise you get while having a wonderful time.  You'll find the hike at:  Latourell Falls Hike

The one thing I can say for sure about this Journey is that it's a Journey I want to stay on for the rest of my life.  When I'm working the Program and doing what I know I should then all is right in my world. I need to continue to make time for ME and my Program.  It really needs to stay in the #1 spot on my priority list.

I'd like to thank everyone who sent me wonderful emails about my newsletter.  I really enjoy talking with you all a couple of times a month.  Thank you!

Have a   Remember that your celebrations don't have to be about food.  Focus on the friends and family that will be there.  Offer to take the pictures (it's hard to eat and take pictures, I know!), carry a filled water bottle with you at all times and remember if you want it don't deny yourself but limit it to 3 bites.  I love the 3 bite rule - 3 bites ONLY.

How would I rate my weeks since last update? Most of the time I've felt good
about Program.  I've not had many food challenges due mostly to the
fact I've been sick the last 2 1/2 weeks. I'm looking forward to getting back
in my routine. I need to work extra hard on getting my water in as I've
had a hard time lately - too much diet pop!

How would I rate my confidence level?  My confidence level continues to
be good.  I really feel I'm doing good on Program. My confidence
level always goes up when I listen to my Hypnosis CDs - Enjoying Weight Loss
so that will be a daily ritual again for the next couple of weeks.

I cannot relive yesterday and tomorrow isn't here yet,
so I will just deal with today.

Coon Family Reunion ~ July 2006

Al, LeRoy and I met our son Glenn, his wife Rie and son Kai, who is 8 years old at Moms in Southern Oregon for a family reunion.
This is the first time we met our grandson so that made the reunion extra-special.  He is an awesome young man! To the left is a family shot of all of us and to the right is Kai.

LeRoy

Of course I have to add a
favorite photo of my son, LeRoy.

I'm a bit jealous that he is
planning on moving to
Spokane the 1st of
October.   He promises
to pass on hugs to
all the family.

On August 21st, I had a complete physical. I had all my bloodwork drawn and the results have come back. My cholesterol is elevated so I need to get back to the doctor to see about lowering it. Meanwhile, everything else came back okay for which I am grateful. I will be seeing a second rheumatologist for my rheumatoid arthritis, which seems to be worsening since going off my meds last year. It's such a two-edged sword - you need the medication but hate the side effects. This last Tuesday I visited my Orthopedic Specialist to see about getting some relief in my right shoulder. I got some relief allright in the way of a cortisone shot, which I can tell you was not fun.  It's the price I have to pay for comfort during my cruise. My shoulder is already feeling much better. When I return from my cruise I will be making another appointment to see where to go from here regarding my shoulder.

I am down 37.5 lbs, almost halfway back to goal (145). I had a maintain last week. Is it going to take me another year to lose the other half?  Maybe, but that's okay as long as I'm staying on Program and living my healthy lifestyle for that is what matters the most at this time. We are not in a race to get to the "goal" marker; instead we are living the healthy lifestyle which in turn will bring us to our "goal" marker, whatever that may be for you.  I'm rooting for us all and support you in your Journey. Together we CAN and WILL stick to our Lifetime Journey to a healthier us!

My regular exercise on the treadmill and elliptical has moved to the back burner for the time being.  It seems that always happens when I get extremely busy and don't take the time I need for ME.  I know why it happens but there are times I'm helpless to fix it. As for exercise I have been shopping for some new clothes and things for the cruise so there has definately been some walking, arm movements (taking money out) and wrestling in and out of clothes going on! My goal on the cruise is to get a lot of walking in, along with some arm movements on the slot machines

As for my water intake, I did as planned and have not brought any diet pop into the house.  I know myself and if it's in the house, I'll drink it instead of water.  I am drinking some Propel, which I love and alternating that with regular water.

My days and nights are still messed up so I've decided to work with it for now.  I work when I'm awake, no matter what time it is.  I'm still getting about 6 hours sleep but I know a regular sleeping schedule would be better me.  It will also help on the Journey.  I certainly know I'm a bit "weaker" in the decision making area when I am lacking a good nights sleep.

My Enjoying Weight Loss Hypnosis CDs with Dr. Roberta Temes continue to be an important part of my Journey and will always be. She is so encouraging, positive, relaxing and Dr. Roberta helps keep me focused on my Journey and keeping ME on the front burner. She reinforces all that I know on this Journey. She lets me know I am awesome; I am a success; I am confident and in control.

I always try to remember that this Journey is a Lifetime Journey. It’s not a Journey with an ending (making my goal weight will only be the start). It's a Lifestyle and it's a Lifestyle I want.

How would I rate my weeks since last update?  On Program and in control.
I'm happy with my maintain this past week. I know that I'm following
program and the scale will eventually catch up to my efforts.

How would I rate my confidence level?  My confidence level continues
to be high. I WANT GOAL and I KNOW I am going all the way!

I cannot relive yesterday and tomorrow isn't here yet,
so I will just deal with today.

November 14, 2006 - Program is going well and I continue to feel I am in control of my Journey.  It's a good feeling.  In just a week we will be celebrating Thanksgiving again with our son, LeRoy and our best friends, Jim & Tammy.  I am really looking forward to that.

I have hit my 40 lb weight loss    since beginning my Journey back to Goal.  I am halfway to goal! I take my Journey day by day and my FOCUS is not on the scale this time around.  My FOCUS is on working the Program to the best of my ability hour by hour, day by day.  I try to make sure I get all my water in for the day (better when I do it early), exercise at least three times a week (okay, not doing very well on this lately but hey, gives me something to work on!) and stay within my Points for the day.  Some days are better than others.  It's okay.  I'm not perfect and that's okay too.  One Day at a Time, No Guilt and Move on is my motto and it works!

My Enjoying Weight Loss Hypnosis CDs with Dr. Roberta Temes are only a click away when I need that extra support on my Journey.  Believe me there are plenty of times I need to hear her voice tell me that I am important, that I can follow my Program easily and that I am a winner!

As you can see my graph and thermometer get updated regularly but the updates are a little slower on appearing.  I apologize for that.  I'm not normally one to talk about myself too much so this is not an easy thing for me.  If you wish to keep updated about me you can always visit the Men's Forum on the Message Board. My wonderful, supportive husband, Al, has no problem talking about me (ain't love grand?).  I also try and update my Journey a bit in my bi-monthly FREE Newsletter.  My newsletter is so much fun to do and I really enjoy visiting with all of you twice a month.

Al is working on the write-up and photos of our Alaskan Cruise we took on Sept 17th with Jim & Tammy, our best friends.  What a great time we had and I have to tell you the food was to die for. We took the stairs instead of the elevator 99.5% of the time so that helped keep our weight from skyrocketing out of control.  Here are a few photos from the cruise:

Keep an eye out for Al's write-up and photos - it's something you won't want to miss!

to all of you, my friends.  Have a wonderful time with your family and friends during this holiday season. Safe travels for all those travelling to their holiday destinations.

How would I rate my Journey since last update?  I feel like my Journey is going
well and keeping my FOCUS on working the Program and not the scale
has worked great for me. I need to work on a more regular exercise
regimen and to remember to get all my water in early in the day but
otherwise I'm feeling great about my Journey.

How would I rate my confidence level?  My confidence level if good.
I want to live this healthy lifestyle and I want to be back at Goal!

I cannot relive yesterday and tomorrow isn't here yet,
so I will just deal with today.

December 7, 2006 -  Program is going well since I've been back from my Thanksgiving vacation.  While on vacation I just could not get into the swing of things with Program or my sleep.  I did not have my Enjoying Weight Loss Hypnosis CDs with me, so didn't have that to fall back on during this time.  The main thing is that I took the focus off me and my Journey and couldn't get it back until I got home. I know that my hypnosis CDs would have helped me.  They always have in the past.  There was just too many temptations added with too little sleep and will power.

Al and I spent Thanksgiving week in Spokane, WA with our son, LeRoy and our bestest friends, Jim & Tammy, and their wonderful family.  It was especially nice this year because our grandson, Hunter James, turned 1 on November 21st.  We had a wonderful celebration.  Below he is on his favorite birthday present from Grampy Jim, a rocket; on the right he is slowly attacking his birthday cake.  I cannot believe how grown up he has gotten.  He is saying some words now and walking!

Since I've been home I've  lost 3 of the 5 lbs I gained with 2 more on the way out.  I'm back to drinking all my water and staying within my points for the day.  I've listened to my Enjoying Weight Loss Hypnosis CDs with Dr. Roberta Temes twice already which has helped immensely with my getting my FOCUS back and getting back in control of my Journey. I'm hoping to add my exercise back into my program soon.

Al and I did get a lot of exercise at one of Portland's Largest Craft Fairs on Friday.  We were on our feet all day. This was a first for Al and he had a lot of fun too.

On Sunday I had to go to Urgent Care for my right foot.  I stepped out of bed and about fell on the floor with heel pain.  I was told it was most likely Plantar Fasciitis and that there was also a small bone spur on my right heel.  Now, after being on anti-inflammatories, the pain has subsided some.  I have an appointment with a podiatrist on January 4th for further evaluation.

My Enjoying Weight Loss Hypnosis CDs with Dr. Roberta Temes are only a click away when I need that extra support on my Journey.  Believe me there are plenty of times I need to hear her voice tell me that I am important, that I can follow my Program easily and that I am a winner!

As I've said many times before I have many tools on this Journey and all of you are right there high on my list. I am truly touched by your thoughtfulness and support.  I hope and pray that I also offer you that love and support.

How would I rate my weeks since last update?  Okay.  Had a hard time getting
motivated to stay on Program while on vacation.

How would I rate my confidence level?  My confidence level continues
to be high. I WANT GOAL and I KNOW I am going all the way!
